CHOREO | The Dancing Pedal - Maple, Merbau & Wenge

The Fjäril CHOREO is the special version of my handcrafted Fjäril pedal – developed for musicians who want to not only hear rhythm, but also feel and move it.

While the Fjäril Original is designed for precise shaker and percussion playing with the toe, the Choreo goes a step further:

It can be played with both heel and toe simultaneously – like a flowing choreography of sound and movement.

Made from maple, wenge and merbau , this CHOREO combines clear shapes with warm naturalness.

The pedal remains untreated , so the wood grain is clearly visible. If desired, it can be oiled by the customer – according to their personal preference for feel and color.

The two included multi-percussion modules made of wenge wood do not produce any sound themselves, but serve as flexible mounts :

Various shakers, seed shakers, bells or jingle bells can be easily clamped into it.

This allows each musician to freely vary what they are allowed to play, dance, and make sounds together .

In addition, further sound modules are available – compatible with those of the Fjäril Original Pedal and available directly in the shop.

Inside, a virtually silent magnetic mechanism with eight powerful neodymium magnets transmits every movement smoothly, directly and precisely.

The playing feel is sensitive, feather-light and expressive – ideal for acoustic music, studio recordings or live performances.

Like every Fjäril pedal, the CHOREO is also carefully handcrafted on a small Swedish island – with passion, precision and respect for the material.
